Other Information
PAT Portable Appliance Testing
- Though this is not strictly a legal requirement for us, we do keep our equipment PAT safe. Though no current certificate exists, the individual electrical items are marked with official PAT stickers.
Fire Safety
- This is conducted on rolling contract by a local firm, each fire extinguisher has a notice showing the test date, any fire extinguisher that does not meet the test requirements will be replaced.
Emergency Lights
- each exit door has an emergency light above it, these are tested by the committee each month for simple loss of power, and once a year a full test of power loss for 3 hours is conducted.
